Beth’s Brothers and Wives Visit Gulfport

Beth's Brothers and Wives Visit Gulfport

After Destin, we had the opportunity to be with John and Melenda who traveled from Huntsville, AL, and Bill and Donna who drove 10 hours from Niceville, FL.

Beth’s cousin Greg and wife, Beth, drove from Dunedin, FL and cousin Annie came over from Tampa to complete the mini family reunion and boiled shrimp dinner! Thanks to Annie for the amazing salad to accompany the shrimp!

Side trips were made to Gulfport Beach, St. Petersburg Pier and Vinoy Park, Pass-A- Grille, and Fort Desoto.

Traveling constantly but still meeting up with family is a blessing!

Pass-A-Grille Community is a short drive from Gulfport, at the end of the St. Petersburg beach peninsula. It is a must-see with beautiful white sand and is surrounded by the gulf on one side and Pass- A- Grille channel on the other side. We scouted the area on bikes and found it charming with just the right amount of commercial bars and restaurants. We had beers at Paradise Grille and Beth’s brothers and wives joined us at The Wharf for Sunday lunch.

Cute houses and amazing views were in abundance. Watch the parking as the Channel side is by permit only and the Gulf side is metered parking!
